About Us

Founded in 2004 in Manchester, New Hampshire, Equipment Works is owned and operated by Mike Laverty. He and his team provide small engine service and repair for both residential and commercial equipment.

 

Mike is certified to complete warranty work for Briggs Stratton, Honda, Generac, Caterpillar, and DR. A graduate of several factory troubleshooting schools, he stays current in the latest service and technology through ongoing training in the industry.

 

Mike’s interest in small engine repair began over 25 years ago, while employed as a construction equipment delivery driver for Parker Danner. Not one to sit still, he found himself servicing rental equipment while awaiting his next delivery assignment. Before long, Mike earned a reputation for his skilled work, which included servicing rental equipment engines, ranging from generators to 100,000-pound excavators. When an engine needed repairing or rebuilding in the field, he was called in to lend a hand.

 

Today, Mike prides himself on providing expert, competitively-priced small engine repair with unparalleled customer service. If needed, we’ll even pick up your equipment and deliver it back to you after it’s been repaired back to OEM specs.
